Search Engine Optimization
Having a good looking web page is important. Having a good looking web page that no one can find is like dressing up for a dance and then hiding in the closet. What good is the best web site on the Internet if no one can find you?
According to Google’s research, 93% of people who do Google searches never go past the first two pages; 74% of the people never go past page one. In other words, to get found online, ranking high in search engines is no longer optional, it’s critical: you have to be on the first two pages or you are simply not on the Internet.
What is Search Engine Optimization?
SEO is the Holy Grail of being found on the search engines. The higher you are on the search, the more people will click on your web site. The more people click on your web site, the better opportunity you have to turn those clicks into customers. SEO is an “organic search” which simply means it’s free. You don’t have to pay to get to the top.
